Ready for 2012?
Dear parents of players in Gray Little League,
Last year was a terrific one for us here at Gray Little League. Participation was up. We hosted the Juniors All Star tournament, our first tournament in years. We had more umpires and volunteers than we've had in a long time.
Let's keep the momentum going!
On Wed. Oct. 26, the Gray Little League Board of Directors will meet to begin the 2012 season (crazy, right?), and we could always use more help.
Specifically, this year we're looking for some financial wizards. The folks who've generously helped us with our Treasurer and Purchaser position the last few years have stepped down as their kids have aged out of the program and the roles they've played have been vital to our success.
Can you run a mean spreadsheet? Can you drive a hard bargain on jerseys and hats? We need your help.
Even if you're not interested in those positions, we could always use more help with our various age levels in both baseball and softball. If you want to help, we want you.
We meet at 6:30 p.m. at the State Police Barracks on Route 26. If you'd like to join us, please send us an email at graymainell@aol.com and let us know you're coming.

Season finishes for 2011 The GNG Juniors Softball team and their Coaches would like to thank all of those who helped host the District 6 Juniors All Star Tournament held at the Gray Middle School. We appreciate the parents, board members, Little League volunteers, Hannaford Supermarkets, Glen & Tammy Gisel, Bob, the Screen Printer, Patriot Soccer Club, Libby Hill Organization (Community Endowment), Jeff Ramich, Niels Mank & the crew at MSAD15 & Victoria Burns for their donations & support throughout our tournament. We had a great season finishing with a 9-4 record and came in 3rd place at the tournament. We could not have done it without your support. Thank You !!! We’ll see you all next year !!

A big thanks to all the volunteers Thanks to everyone who helped make this year's Gray Little League season such a huge success. Without your help coaching, selling snacks, cleaning up the fields, and all the rest of the great work that you do, we'd never be able to get all of these kids out onto the fields to learn about baseball, softball, teamwork, sportsmanship, and playing the game the right way.

Closing Ceremonies
Closing Ceremonies, June 18 To celebrate a wonderful 2011 Little League campaign, we'll once again hold closing ceremonies to bring everyone back together before we all leave for our various summer adventures. On Saturday, we'd like everyone in the baseball and softball leagues to join us, in uniform, for a ceremony acknowledging everyone's great effort, especially that of our treasured volunteers. Come join us for some ice cream and community get together to close out the 2011 season!
